LI2 Recruiting Professionals for Prosperity, Productivity

Many smaller employers don’t use recruiting software due to the cost, despite the many benefits they would receive. Adding to this is the fact that many of the providers of such services tend to focus their marketing strategies on larger employers since these companies have higher budgets. Over the last few years this has begun to change. There has been a rise in HR software options geared toward small and mid-sized employers. Now several providers of such services have pared together to offer lower-cost alternative in order to entice smaller businesses to use their products.

According to a recent press release Arbita and MrTed, two HR software providers has entered into a partnership specifically geared toward offering both less expensive and free recruiting tools to employers and recruiters. Recently MrTed released a free applicant tracking system for corporate recruiters called SmartRecruiters, which will be a part of the pair’s services.

Other products to be part of the content offered include: Abrita’s One Source, which is a candidate sourcing platform that will be offered as a trail version, and Recruiter and Sourcer Development, which will be dedicated to content and webinars on free and low-cost recruiting techniques offered by Arbita ACES teams.

“Our partnership with SmartRecruiters is a logical strategy for addressing two major trends in recruitment,” said Arbita’s founder and CEO Don Ramer. “First of all, great software doesn’t have to be expensive. That’s why we offer free job posting software straight from our web site, and that’s why the North American market is ready for a free applicant tracking system like SmartRecruiters. Second, our community needs solutions right now for getting more done with fewer resources. This partnership provides our clients with tools and techniques they badly need to address the current recruiting reality.”

MrTed’s CEO and co-founder Jerome Ternynck seems equally enthusiastic.

“We are very pleased to be partnering with an organization of Arbita’s caliber,” said Ternynck in the recent press release. “Arbita’s commitment to the recruiting industry is legendary and I’m glad to say that we share similar values. Our mutual goal is to provide our community with solutions that really help them achieve their goals and dreams.”
